What is Nestwerk?

Nestwerk turns housework and helping out into a game the family plays together. Kids help voluntarily, earn points and trade them for rewards the family chooses itself.

Every kid builds their own block avatar, climbs the ranks and collects badges. As a family you work towards a shared goal.

Parents keep track on a calm dashboard and decide what counts. Everything runs locally at home, with no cloud and no third-party accounts.

    Create, repeat and tick off tasks. Proof photos and parent approval keep it fair.

    Voluntary help earns points. Kids redeem them for rewards from a catalogue you set up yourself.

    Every kid builds a block figure from mods they earn in the mod shop.

  • Ranks, streaks & badges

    Ranks from Common to God Mode, streaks over days and weeks, and badges to collect.

  • Family goal & hero of the week

    Everyone works towards one goal and the kids vote on it. The hero of the week gets celebrated.

  • Special day

    Kids who fully upgrade their mods earn a special day of their own.

  • Hall of fame

    Special moments and family records stay visible for good.

    Open decisions, kids, special days and settings at a glance.

    Each family member picks their language; notifications arrive in their language too.

Privacy

  • All data stays on your server.
  • No ads, no tracking, no external services, not even third-party fonts or CDNs.
  • Notifications via your own web push and your own mail server.
  • Kids only have a username and PIN, no e-mail address.

Tech

Nestwerk is built on Django and runs in Docker. As a progressive web app it installs like an app on phones and the hallway tablet. The interface needs no external resources.
